Drivus launches new Advanced Inventory Management app
Advanced Inventory Management simplifies stock control for bodyshops
16 November 2023 – Drivus, an Axalta brand delivering business services for the automotive refinish market in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), has launched a dedicated app for Android and iPhone users for its comprehensive, cloud-based warehouse management system, Axalta Inventory Management (AIM).
The AIM by Drivus app is designed to make paint and non-paint inventory management for bodyshops simpler, enabling more operational efficiency and improved profitability within one single app.
“AIM is proven to help bodyshops work faster, smarter and with less waste. Each user associated with an AIM subscription can access their details via the AIM by Drivus app and utilise its multifunctionality. Busy bodyshops can keep work moving on the go. Not only does the cloud-based system monitor multiple inventory functions, but also now, with the launch of the app, refinishers don’t need to wait to use the bodyshop AIM scanner, for example; the app allows them to scan using any mobile device,” says Babak Tehrani, Business Services Manager for Axalta’s Refinish business in EMEA
The integrated scanner turns any mobile device that supports the app into a barcode reader so multiple refinishers can generate order lists, scan bar codes as well as update stock, all at the same time.
AIM by Drivus app manages consumption monitoring in real time and automatically checks stock in and out as it is added and removed. It also generates order lists and monitors multiple warehouses from a single screen. It’s simple to monitor order histories and statuses and the automated processes mean shipping is faster, saving valuable time.
Tehrani concludes, “Drivus was designed to focus on the particular industry challenges faced by our partners and customers. We developed AIM to optimise a bodyshop’s day-to-day operations by reducing capital investment in inventory. By launching the AIM by Drivus app, we’ve gone one step further in our promise to help our customers do better business.”
AIM is available via a convenient monthly subscription. To find out more about the return on investment and savings AIM can deliver to bodyshops, please visit www.drivus.com, or talk to the local Drivus representative.
The AIM by Drivus app is available to download free of charge now from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
